Kollektivtrafik i Stockholms län
För kollektivtrafiken inom Stockholms län ansvarar Region Stockholm. Regionens trafiknämnd fattar beslut om den landbaserade trafiken, som marknadsförs under namnet SL, och den sjögående trafiken, som marknadsförs under namnet Waxholmsbolaget. Trafiken utförs av entreprenörer.
Den landbaserade kollektivtrafiken består dels av busstrafik, dels av spårtrafik i form av pendeltåg som framförs på Trafikverkets järnvägar, samt spårtrafik som framförs på regionägda banor: tunnelbana, Roslagsbanan, Saltsjöbanan, Tvärbanan, Nockebybanan, Spårväg City och Lidingöbanan.

The Stockholm Metro has stations that are located on 3 branched lines: Gröna Linjen (green), Röda sträcka (red) and Blå sträcka (blue).
