The Kiss of Deceptionhar varit ett efterlängtad litteratur ända sedan jag hörde om den i våras. En fantasy som hamnade direkt bland mina favoritböcker. Kiss of Deceptionär mer en utflykt med vänskap, kärlek samt svek, lite magi samt kungligt politik - detta var enstaka helt strålande vacker samt fängslande läsupplevelse. Trots detta lite långsammare tempo (enligt mitt tycke) sitter man ändå flera gånger vid helspänn beneath läsningen.
Prinsessan Lia existerar inte liksom andra prinsessor och önskar leva en självständigt liv där denna inte behöver följa regler och ingå i en arrangerat äktenskap med enstaka prins vilket hon ej ens äger träffat. Morgonen på sin bröllopsdag bestämmer hon sig för för att fly tillsammans med kammarjungfrun Pauline samt de hamnar i enstaka by var de börjar servera vid ett inn. Efter hon kommer numeriskt värde män liksom har sina egna fakta att ta itu tillsammans med, ena existerar prinsen liksom skulle äga gift sig med hon och den andra existerar en lönnmördare sänd på grund av att döda henne. Lia träffar båda två samt lär uppleva dem vilket Kaden samt Rafe, dem är intressanta och mystiska och man kan ej annat än bli nyfi
